Banco Finantia S.A Sucursal en España may allow early cancellation upon the client’s specific and individual request.
In the event of early cancellation, a penalty corresponding to 100% of the interest accrued up to that moment will apply to all promoted terms.

The Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF) guarantees the reimbursement of the total amount of your deposits held with each credit institution, up to a maximum limit of €100,000 per depositor, considering the overall balance held with the same bank.
At the time of subscribing to a deposit, we provide you with the Depositor Information Form (DIF), which indicates the protection applicable to the deposit and whether it is eligible for coverage by the DGF. This information is also included in account statements, with the form being made available at least once a year.

Yes. As a participating bank in the Deposit Guarantee Fund (DGF), deposits placed with Banco Finantia S.A Sucursal en España are covered by the guarantee provided by the DGF, in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The minimum amount required to place a term deposit with Banco Finantia is €50,000.
Interest is paid by credit to the associated current account, with the relevant credit being made on the maturity date itself.
The interest earned is credited to the current account and becomes fully available in the client’s account.
This depends on the type of deposit contracted. Deposits with possibility of withdrawal allow for early mobilization, either partial or total, deposits that don’t offer that possibility may not allow mobilization prior to maturity.
In the case of early mobilization deposits, if mobilization occurs on the interest payment date, no penalty applies. At any other time, early mobilization implies the total forfeiture of interest for the period corresponding to the redeemed capital.

Income from a term deposit is classified as investment income and is subject to withholding tax at a rate of 28%, with a final nature for Personal Income Tax (IRS) purposes and as a payment on account for Corporate Income Tax (IRC) purposes.
This tax framework corresponds to the regime in force at the start of the subscription period and may change during the term of the deposit. The regime described does not prejudice the application of any double taxation agreements applicable to entities not resident in Portugal and does not dispense consultation of the applicable legislation.
