Banco Finantia supports social and business development in Brazil through participation in a syndicated loan

Banco Finantia has participated in a syndicated loan arranged by CAF* for USD 297 million in favour of Banco Cooperativo Sicredi (Brazil). This financing, structured as a CAF A/B loan, has been classified as a Social Loan and includes a USD 50 million A tranche and a USD 112 million B tranche.

This transaction enabled the mobilisation of additional private capital from three international financial institutions, alongside Banco Finantia: BNP Paribas (BNPP), Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation (SMBC) and Ecobusiness Fund.

The financing will support micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), both in urban and rural areas, located in municipalities with development indicators below the Brazilian national average. It will also support businesses led by women, thereby contributing to business development, gender equality and financial inclusion.

This project highlights Banco Finantia’s commitment to promoting initiatives with a positive social impact while further strengthening its presence in international financial markets.
